It’s a beautiful thing when professional relationships become personal friendships. James Mason is a talented musician, gifted artist, dedicated father, and a wonderful friend. On our #Troupe2Cali, we made a stop in Pittsburgh where we got to catch up with some good friends. One of them being James Mason of Sweet Earth! We had previously met the band at Garefest 2019. James was kind enough to host us for an evening and surprised us with TWO personalized canvas pieces!! Artist James Mason created these pieces using acrylic paints, and oil based paint markers. The two pieces feature complimentary contrasting colors. These colors are highlighted by a white outline that creates fragmented asymmetrical shapes lively dancing together in harmony. The coarse texture of the canvas & paint bring an added layer of depth. These pieces are sure to be stimulating and thought provoking to whomever it catches their eye. Both pieces were created on July 2020 for ZIG ZAG and Cheeba of Troupe Inc. James was even kind enough to write us each our own personal message. We are extremely grateful, and feel truly blessed to have friends like these. If you’re interested in more art from James Mason, you’re in luck! The artist has pieces for sale at the Troupe Inc. Art store. He is also a member of the kick ass band: Sweet Earth! You can find videos of them jamming out on our music page. Huge thanks once again, from your forever fam: Troupe Inc. You may also like:Hello everyone!! Hope you are all staying home and staying safe during this pandemic. You may find yourself with time you didn’t previously have. Many people have taken on new hobbies, learned a skill, or rediscovered something they love. Cheeba had some inspiration from a friend, and decided to teach herself how to crochet! She has always been a crafty person; and had previously worked with yarn. Crocheting was something she had always wanted to do, but never gave herself the time to do it. So using some help from online experts, she crafted a pillow!! This pillow took Cheeba a little less than three days to complete. She started out by making a basic granny square[1], following the instructions of Tuula[2] from YouTube! While making the second granny square (much better this time, with more experience) she realized that she did not have enough yarn. At this point, Cheeba had to unravel the original square, and crochet it again from the beginning. It was no bother, she was glad to redo it, now with more experience. To stitch the two squares together, she used a seamless join method[3], found on Pinterest[4]. The post provided many different ways to stitch two granny squares together, Cheeba just personally enjoyed that method best. She first joined three sides together, with extra enforcement at the corners. Then, she stuffed a small unused satin pillow inside, before stitching the final side together. Time is so important!! Try something new, explore things you hadn’t before! You might find something that you’re in love with. We all have the power to create wonderful things. Stay strong, may the universe be with us all.

After announcing its first subdivision, Troupe Inc Collectibles, Troupe Inc was ready to move on to the next project. After a few connections being made, Troupe Inc Art was born.
The idea had originated from attending previous music festivals, such as Happy Hippie Muzik Fest and Garefest 2019. We got a first hand experience with the art vendors themselves as well as their beautiful creations. After leaving the festivals, we noticed that a lot of their art wasn’t easily found outside of the festivals. That’s why, Troupe Inc. saw this as the perfect opportunity for a new subsection of our company. Through Troupe Inc Art, you will be able to find unique, one of a kind creations, of multiple mediums. The art showcased will be made by up and coming artists, such as Steve Pearce, Darkroot Handcrafting, and more! We can’t wait to show you what we have in store, stay tuned!! |
