The Tommy McGee Band

The Tommy McGee Band has been a force on the Mid Atlantic music scene for what seems like an eternity. Playing shows everywhere from dive bars to large festivals and theaters and everything in between, sharing the stage with some of the regions best national and touring talent, this band a sum of many parts including blues, funk, soul and southern rock and with their own flair included, it is far from basic. Tommy and his trio offer up a healthy dose of material that echoes a familiar classic sound though refreshingly new and powerful. Reminiscent of sounds like The North Mississippi All-Stars, Gov't Mule, Gary Clark Jr. or Otis Redding, the TMB sound is a tapestry of everything you love about New Orleans funk, Southern Soul and Rhythm & Blues.

For 2019 , Tommy has assembled a cast of powerhouse players comprised of Pete Geraghty on bass and Chris Murray on drums. And since their 2019 debut, the band has seen a quick rise to notoriety as the power trio to see!!
